Here's the image of a horse which I'm trying to draw:
Drawing all of the dirt, & the leaves on the right side, is a pain. But, the effect I'm going for is to try to elicit a strong contrast between the horse, and the background. I especially like the background in this image because it shoots back to a vanishing point, in perspective. I never thought that dirt and leaves could "behave" in perspective. Does that make sense?
I was encouraged this morning by the kind act of a friend who bought me a cup of hot chocolate.
