An interesting email I just received:
Dear Mr. Grant:
I have two prints of your grandmother's (Eugenia Grant)- I presume. They belonged to my grandma who was from Missouri as well... They lived in Stockton until he passed away in the 50's... She was very proud of ... her Stockton life. Director George Lucas worked for Grandpa when he was a young man in their book and stationary store called Morris Brothers. I imagine that if she didn't know your grandmother, she was proud of a Missouri woman doing well in the art world. I was just cleaning out and planned to list them on Craigslist and thought I would investigate them when I found your posting online. My grandmother and my mother both smoked, so the frames and glass are both yellowed. Don't know about the actual prints under the glass. They are beautiful but I have no place to put them. Any info you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks!
